Dignity & Peace
You may be skipping through angels
but some are wading through treacle
you may be singing with the blue whales song
but some are bound and gagged by court orders
you may be expressing the milk of kindness
but some are scheming up the next holocaust
you may be making lemonade from lemons
but some are making diamond encrusted skulls
you may be going to your favourite meditative place
but some are beaten into silence by our quietness
you may be drinking from your own artistic fountain
but some are living hard from hand to empty mouth
you may be cancelling your second holiday
but some are cancelling the rest of their life
you may be annoyed that some poor whisper and roar
but some are cheering from the cheap seats to the Gods
yes some are cheering from the bottom of their hearts brokenness
yes some people on this earth see revolution as practical as food
but some others preach the benefits of starvation to the masses
you may be one of the revolutionaries busy planning their feast
in which case please accept my order of dignity and peace.
