Gravity's Gone
(For Theresa)
There are things about the past that should be left buried.
Emotions and events that should be conquered, then remembered
as important lessons.
The gravity of fromer love, like indifference, can disable . . .or
make you stronger . . .or lead you to the gun.
Suddenly you're in a twenty year old vacuum and the vulnerable
meter is on overload. . .This is not what you wanted.
But when old feelings are rehashed, you suddenly feel like
gravity's gone...
And you just keep floating.
